A Dental OPG (Orthopantomogram) is a panoramic X-ray of the mouth and jaws that provides a comprehensive view of all teeth, jawbones, and surrounding structures in one image. Unlike small intraoral X-rays, OPG allows dentists to assess tooth position, growth, bone health, and jaw joints (TMJ) efficiently. The procedure is quick, painless, and low-radiation. Patients are asked to remove metal objects and stand or sit still while the machine gently rotates around the head to capture detailed images.
